Midwife | Trained Nurse | Internal Pelvic Release Practitioner | Founder, Shine Birth

Louise is a Registered Midwife with 21 years’ experience caring for women birthing in hospital and at home. She also trained as a nurse, and is a mother of four.

Today, Louise’s work with women happens outside labour and birth. She offers internal pelvic release, caesarean scar release, birth debriefs and matrescence coaching. She trained in internal pelvic release with Fiona Hallinan of The Pelvic Space.

Louise believes every woman should own her body and her decisions. That belief drives her advocacy, from speaking to the Parliamentary Friends of Maternal Health to bringing local women together to call for better access to home birth and trauma-informed care.
